Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has donated 30 iron sheets towards the completion of St Augustine’s Kamolo Catholic Church in Kocholia Parish.
The Governor had given the pledge last Sunday when he presided over a fundraiser in aid of the church accompanied by Women Representative Florence Mutua and Public Works, Transport and Energy Executive Okwara Ekirapa.
Chief Officer in the office of the Governor Dr. Ezekiel Okwach handed over the iron sheets to the chairman of Kamolo sub-parish Mr. Bernard Murunga on behalf of the Governor Sospeter Ojaamong.
Dr. Okwach told the committee that the Governor wishes to see the church complete, adding that he will work together to make sure this is achieved.
“On behalf of Kamolo sub-parish, we are so grateful and happy for this kind gesture, “said Mr. Murunga.
