I am in ODM to stay, Busia Deputy Governor tells Ruto

Busia  Deputy Governor Kizito Wangalwa   told  Deputy President William on the face that he was in the Orange Democratic Movement to stay.
Wangalwa had joined the DP  during his itinerary in  Busia County on Saturday. Ruto presided over three fundraising functions in Butula and Matayos sub county. He opened CDF office in Teso North.
 Speaking at Bukhalalire Boys’  Secondary School during  a fundraiser in aid of  four schools where  the DP was the Chief Guest,  Wangalwa said  pressure had been mounting  for him to join Jubilee.
” The DP you are urging me to join you in Jubilee but  Busia County  residents have told me to stay put in Cord.  That  is the official position,” he  said.
Wangalwa recalled  their  good days with the DP as alumni of  University of Nairobi Chiromo campus with Albert Oluoch who was also present at the function.
” Despite such close friendship  that spans decades, I will be the last person to forsake  the residents  who have given me  the direction to follow,” he said.
 Busia County Assembly  Speaker, Bernard Wamalwa  welcomed the  Ruto DP to  Busia County. He also assured him that the County assembly  is on the right track in discharging   its oversight role.
Charles Bukeke of the  Papa Shirandula  fame on Citizen television  was the master of ceremony.  He is an old student of  Bukhalalire Secondary School.
