Leave Raila alone, Ojaamong tells Weta and Mudavadi

Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong  has told NASA co-principals  Moses Wetangula and Musalia   Mudavadi to leave opposition  leader Raila Odinga alone  and mind their own business.

Speaking  when he joined  Devolution  Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa in distributing  relief food to floods  victims at Akiriamas Primary School in Teso South  on Sunday, the Governor  told the two leaders  to wait for their time  “or look for their own country.”

” Uhuru and Raila  are now working together following the symbolic handshake. The President’s agenda  is affordable health care, housing  and food security. These are what we should embrace to benefit our people.

Much time was  wasted on politics  and election  petitions. With that now behind us we need to focus on development in the next five years and forge a united and peaceful country,” Ojaamong said..

At Bumala “B”  Catholic Church, Wamalwa  said he is supporting calls for unity  in Western Kenya  aimed at bringing all communities together instead of alienating others.

” What I don’t want to hear  are  plans by my brothers Wetangula and Mudavadi to disband Ford Kenya and ANC and form Mulembe Party that will bring all Luhyas together.

Where will my uncles the Tesos  who are part of the Western community  bloc and the Sabaots from Mt Elgon go under such arrangement? he wondered.

He said even if Mulembe Party was formed it cannot form the next Government if we don’t  seek the support of other communities across the country.

Wamalwa said time for tribal parties is long gone. ” What we want  is politics of unity, thus the need by the two leaders to join hands with the President and Raila to forge a united and peaceful country.

Let’s  emulate  the late Masinde Muliro  who included  all communities in the country including Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and Kenneth Matiba  to form  Ford  and  the late Wamalwa Kijana  who brought on board  Mwai Kibaki  to form NARC which united with NDP to form Government.
