This unit is charged with the responsibility of developing a comprehensive records management program for the county Government and also to develop, implement and audit systems and procedures for management of records . His other responsility include planning for appropriate accommodation for records, train members of staff on relevance record keeping system ,initiate the disposal of records with laid down procedures ,prepare annual budget for record management activities and operations as well as carry out records survey and appraisal among others.
