MATERNITY WARD AT PORT VICTORIA SUB COUNTY HOSPITAL NEARING COMPLETION

Residents of Bunyala seeking services at Port Victoria Sub County Hospital are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with the construction of a maternity ward which is nearing completion.

The facility which is in Bunyala West Ward is 95 Percent Complete and will be handed over to the County Government in a week's time, according to the Contractor.

BUSIA SUB COUNTY ADMINISTRATORS RESHUFFLED

The County Government of Busia has carried out a minor reshuffle of Sub-County Administrators (SCAs) in order to enhance public service delivery in the county.

Former Teso North SCA Chrisantus Okware is now the Sub County Administrator in charge of Teso South Sub County.

He has swopped positions with Ms Zipporah Amoit. Former Samia SCA Mr David Benson Sibeyo is now the new Sub County Administrator in charge of Butula Sub County, also swopping positions with Caroline Oduor.

SIASA PLACE ROLLS OUT PROJECT TO OFFER CAPACITY BUILDING TO BUSIA COUNTY ADMINISTRATORS

Siasa Place, a local Non Governmental Organization that engages the youth on matters leadership and Governance, has rolled out a project in Busia County that targets to offer capacity building to Sub County and Ward Administrators and the youth.

The Organization Program Officer, Mr. Grayson Marwa made the revelation on Wednesday when his team held a meeting with Chief Officer in the Office of the Governor, Mr. Ezekiel Okwach.
